FLEX and PREMIER Tickets are available for customers who may need to change their ticket at a later stage. The FLEX and Off-Peak Vouchers now include brand new features and are available for customers who desire flexibility at a fixed price.
No hidden fuel surcharges
During past years oil prices hit record highs. The price for diesel fuel for ferries more than doubled since the opening of the Dover-Boulogne service in May 2004. Even though the consequences of record high fuel prices for a low cost ferry operation are immense, SpeedFerries does not add any fuel surcharge to the ticket price.
SpeedFerries wishes to keep its transparent pricing system, where customers know the exact and total price of a ticket before booking it. The price displayed in the online price check service is the price you actually pay for your travel. Fair and simple!
Other Channel ferry operators have introduced oil surcharges at the final stage of a booking or as a surcharge to be paid at the time of check-in. And even though fuel prices have declined in recent months these charges are still enforced. So when comparing prices, please keep in mind that the initial price quote you get from other Channel ferry operators is generally not the final price to pay, as an oil surcharge and a credit card fee could be added at the end of the booking process or at check-in.
